One of the highlight moments of shooting photography in 2021 to date, I couldn’t believe my eyes to see the beauty of this beach, completely lit with the hues of a setting summers sun. Then out of nowhere a man appears into the frame as I turned my camera. This area is located in the South Island’s north-west corner, Golden Bay is one of New Zealand's most diverse and appealing spots. It’s a region with endless variety, where golden beaches, alpine valleys and tranquil fishing rivers share a close proximity with the sea.
